What types of portrait photography can I use NowCandid for?

NowCandid works for a wide range of portrait jobs: Santa, corporate headshots, tourist and destination portraits, seniors, daycare and preschool, school portraits, dance and performing arts, youth organizations, and other scheduled portrait events.

It is especially useful when you photograph a lot of people and need a reliable way to identify subjects, deliver galleries, and let buyers order online.

Face Matching or Positive ID: which should I use?

It depends on how the day is organized.

Positive ID workflows (Type & Take, Scanner ID, Name Lookup) collect or select contact info first, then pair photos as you shoot. That fits structured portrait lines and roster-style days.

Face Matching workflows (including Selfie Check-In™ and Tap-A-Face) help when subjects change outfits, visit multiple stations, or you need to shoot more freely and still get them into the right gallery.

You are not locked into one method. Choose what fits each Event.

Can subjects get their own personal gallery?

Yes. Subjects can receive a personal gallery with the images connected to them. Links go out by text or email so they can view and order without digging through unrelated photos.

You can also allow access to an all-images gallery when broader browsing makes sense for the job.

Can NowCandid handle large portrait events?

Yes. NowCandid is built for high-volume workflows and can support Events with hundreds or thousands of participants. Identification, galleries, automated communication, online ordering, and fulfillment work together so large portrait days stay organized.

Do I need to upload portraits during the Event?

No. You can upload live during the Event or upload afterward.

Live upload can put galleries in front of buyers while interest is highest. Uploading after works well when you want more control before release. Either way, automated reminders help bring subjects back to order. Pick based on staffing, internet, retouch needs, and how fast you want galleries available.

Does Portraits require a subscription?

No. Portraits does not require a subscription or onboarding fee. Photographers pay a 5% ecommerce fee and a 3% processing fee on product sales.

Face Matching, Background Removal, retail support, and long-term image hosting (20+ years) are included without separate add-on fees.
