What is Service Photography with NowCandid?
Service photography is a booking where an organizer, sponsor, or client pays for your coverage and guests receive free images. NowCandid’s FreePics programs handle guest photo delivery, with your branding and optional product sales.
How do guests get their photos?
FreePics texts image files directly to guests’ phones and provides gallery access. FreePics GO! sends gallery links for guests to download their photos. FreePortraits offers direct image texting with a one-time text limit for each image file.
Are digital images free for guests?
Yes. FreePics programs let guests receive or download images at no charge. The photographer pays the program’s per-image cost and can include that cost in the client’s booking fee.
Can I still sell physical products?
Yes. You can offer prints and photo gifts alongside free downloads. You choose the products and retail prices. Product orders carry applicable lab, shipping, ecommerce, and processing costs.
How do Face Matching and Positive ID fit in?
Tap-A-Face™ is a Face Matching workflow: guests tap their face on your device and enter just their phone number. Selfie Check-In™ uses a guest’s selfie instead. Positive ID workflows connect photos to selected or entered contact information as you shoot. Choose the approach that fits your coverage.
Can I keep the experience white-labeled?
Yes. Use your business branding for the gallery experience and add event or sponsor artwork to images. You control the setup for each booking, so the service can feel like an extension of your photography business.
What about overlays, LiveLoop, and photo booth?
Add event or sponsor overlays, run LiveLoop™ photo slideshows from live uploads, and use photo booth mode alongside roaming coverage. AI photo remixes can add a themed experience, with optional editing costs based on the tools you use.
Does this require a subscription?
No. There are no subscription, license, or onboarding fees. Photographers pay per uploaded image for FreePics delivery. Optional AI edits and product orders have their own costs. Free means free for the guest, not zero cost to the photographer.
What is the difference between FreePics, FreePics GO!, and FreePortraits?
FreePics is the general event option, with image files texted directly to guests plus gallery access.
FreePics GO! provides gallery-only delivery at a lower per-image cost. It is useful for downloads with or without overlay art, background choices, and optional product browsing.
FreePortraits offers a lower-cost direct-texting option for headshots and similar portrait jobs, with each image file texted only once.
Can I use FreePics for sponsored events or brand activations?
Yes. A sponsor or organizer can fund your coverage and free guest delivery. Add event or sponsor artwork to create branded keepsakes, and include the delivery and any optional editing costs in your booking price.
Can I share selected photos with the event organizer?
